Why Should You Work with a REALTOR®?
When choosing to purchase a home, you are choosing to make one of the largest investments most people make in their lifetime. The majority of purchasers must borrow the funds necessary to make the purchase, and the terms of the purchase contract and subsequent mortgage directly affect you and your family for many years into the future. With so much at stake, it is only prudent to have a professional REALTOR® on your side to make sure you are making a fully informed, and sound decision.
Protecting Your Best Interests
As a licensed REALTOR®, it is my duty to look after your best interests. I am bound not only by my own personal ethics, but also by the Code of Ethics of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and the Canadian Real Estate Association. As a member of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, I am required to stay on top of not only market conditions, but updates in contract law, and professional conduct.
Through the Agency relationship created between the client and the REALTOR®, your personal information and motivation for purchasing are protected. You can rest assured that I am working for you and your interests are of the utmost importance.
No Additional Cost to the Buyer
Most people do not realize that in the large majority of cases, there is usually no cost to the Buyer for real estate services provided by a REALTOR®. Our fees are usually provided through the transaction, as part of the Listing Contract. This fee will be disclosed to you, the Buyer, at the time of drafting an offer to purchase.
